Life is simply too short for regression.

Everything is fine at 299 (299 point 7 that is). Well, I just barely squeaked out of the 300’s, and this time, it had better be for good. Life is simply too short for regression.
I walked the steep hill a couple of times today. Some lady came along with three large dogs literally leashed to her belt. She made fairly good time up the hill but I’m pretty sure the mutts were helping her pull. Looked like a good idea to me.
Hope you’re all having a great day.

  1. That's awesome Brent! Something that has kept me sliding backwards is something I heard on an Oprah weight loss show years ago. A woman was talking about how she spent her twenties worrying about her weight and she determined that was not going to be the case in her thirties. I've determined (a couple years ago) not to spend my 40's worrying about my weight. I have 6 months left and I'm getting close :).

  2. Hooray for you!!! I knew you could do it. Just look back on the last 55 days as experience. It's not really time wasted. I know, because I'm on the same trip you are. I flounder and I learn. And I get more humble. Then when I get back on track, I have gained an even stronger desire to get to the next level, and more knowledge about myself and how to conquer my weaknesses (or avoid them altogether!), and I have gained the humility to truly seek God's help. Take it one day at a time, Brent. That's all you have to do. I am happy that you made good progress this week!
